| Application | Capsaicin is an active component of chili peppers, and is responsible for the hot and spicy taste. We provide an API grade of capsaicin, which is highly purified according to GMP management. Capsaicin is an agonist of the transient receptor potential vanilloid 1 (TRPV 1), which is an ion channel responsible for the pain and heat at the sensory neurons. Therefore, capsaicin contributes as the API for pain treatmentsin the formulation of patches and creams. |
